Making Outsourcing Work


Whether you think outsourcing is a good idea or not, you might as well do it right.  Getting outsourcing right is really a question of how do you replicate what you’re doing in on location and move it to another.  When you have a function were the documentation and training is loose or unconnected, it doesn’t travel very well.  When it gets to its location, there’s always a lot missing and you basically reinvent the wheel.

What a Learning Path helps you do is take extremely well defined and well measured training designed for new employees and use it with a new set of employees.  It also provides all of the links to the first line managers who need to do a lot of coaching during any start-up.  A good Learning Path is the recipe book and without it, you really have to start over.
